Batman Begins (BB) is a trace-back movie. It tells about the first time of Bruce Wayne became a saviour of city of Gotham and called his other himself as Batman. This was actually happened accidentally while he searched for an answer about what his old-time-friend Rachel justify his thought about justice.

Justice is about harmony; revenge is about making yourself feel better.
— Rachel, Batman Begins 2005 —

This movie has different color than the other Batman movies. It’s darker. The violent shows in this movie can be threatening to non-adults viewer as the killing of the Bruce Wayne parents was dramatized. Not only that, the fear of Bruce Wayne to his past was shown symbolically with darkness and seems like Bruce Wayne finally be able to stand up in darkness. This stand-up-in-darkness was shown while Bruce Wayne slowly standing up in the Bat Cave and dissolve with the darkness and bats (or his fears).

This fear was actually a bit overdrawn from the plot that Batman traumatized by his parent death. However, in this movie, many time his fear was shown as bats.

The first quote I can remember is said by Rachel (above) and the second one is this.

It’s not who I am underneath. But what I do that defines me.
— Batman, Batman Begins 2005 —

This is what I have actually been waiting to see from Batman, the dark story and not gimmicks about chicks and fancy nemesis. How it was so irritating to see Batman smiling (or evilish grinch to be precise) on Batman Forever.
