Reverse telnet locked-up?

by David Sudjiman ~ November 25th, 2006. Filed under: Cisco.

You did a reverse telnet and suddenly your connection locked-up and you accidentally closed the connection without using ‘CTRL-SHIFT-6 x’.

You went back to the router you were connecting from and found out that the connection was still there yet you couldn’t do a ‘disconnect’ command.

Use ‘clear line XX’ where XX is the AUX port to kill the session.
