I use telnet for my lab and I do not care if it is secure as it is dynamic and telnetting to terminal servers is universal in my lab at work.

SSH is &quot;better&quot; in the sense of not wanting people to see your information, sure.  I don&#039;t think this registry edit is endorsing a specific telnet client.  I use PuTTY and SecureCRT for telnet, but that still doesn&#039;t help me if I have a link open in IE7 and I click on it, not sure why you mentioned PuTTY?</description>
