Nokia Sucks!
by David Sudjiman ~ July 28th, 2007. Filed under: Catharsis.I was looking for documentation for Nokia IPSO on platform IP300 and I’ve spent several hours googling, checking on www.nokia.com website and get nothing.
Particularly on www.nokia.com, are these guys serious on selling security products? I have to go along several links just to find out that the security products was under the Business link. Thus, no documentation.
I thought I have to register to access the documentation. Done, registered, but I have to wait for 2 days to get the access, that If they grant me one.
Seems that Nokia won’t allow user like me to access the documentation. This is what I have to choose to describe myself.
I am a Customer with a Nokia Service Contract
I am a Nokia Accredited Reseller
I am a Nokia Accredited Service Provider
I am a Nokia Distributor
I am a Nokia Authorized Training Provider
I am a Nokia Approved Carrier / Operator
You think M$ support sucks? compare to this!
And don’t gimme the stupid reasoning that you won’t open this doco just because you want to ensure the security. D’OH.

I just got (almost) the same experience.
Trying to get the User Guide / Manual to configure storage EMC CX300. All the free downloadable are only marketing talks, where the techie stuff you have to register and presenting your credential either reseller or maintenance contract user.

I am SOOOO frustrated by Nokia, their phone, their headset and their passive aggressive costumer service.
My phone, the Nokia 6133, is not compatable with any common headset, I can only buy one from Nokia or search the internet for this obscure connection.
Because there are multiple pins to connect, the headsets contantly break.
I finally broke down and paid $39 for a genuine Nokia brand headset, right from their flagship store with a one year warrantee.
It also broke after 3 months! They won’t fix, they can’t replace it because it’s been discontinued. After being on hold for 25 minutes!!!!! they were going to give me an UPGRADED headset, but only with 8 months of warranty. They acted like they were doing me a big favor. Shuttling me between operators and departments.
This was not India, this is Florida.
11/2 months still no headset.
