mactalk.com.au gives details about IPhone launch in Australia. Release date will be end of June 2008.
It will not exclusively bind with Telstra but can also be bought from other resellers. This also providing the posibility for unlocked IPhone.
During the same date Apple will also release 3G Iphone, IPhone 2.0 software update, and possibly opening a new Apple store in Sydney and Melbourne.
