Work through conflicting pressures?

by David Sudjiman ~ April 21st, 2008. Filed under: Catharsis.

Wandering around looking the job market and found this.

Demonstrated enthusiasm and drive with the ability to work through conflicting pressures and priorities.

Why would a person want to work in this type of job? Pressures are always there. But conflicting pressures? This company must have a really big problem since the word conflicting and pressures should not be set together.

Why would a person want to work in this type of job?

Simply because such is life :)

Even the jobs that doesn’t list this actually has it. They are just not as forthcoming as this particular job posting.

    Thanks Harry,

I know that problems @ job can be very dynamic and unpredictable. At least I can say thanks to this company for being honest.

I just had enough of company having internal problems such as procedural and system escalation point. Pressuring to fix the issue is normal and at least should taken as challenge.

I just see that ‘conflicting pressure’ is one of those procedural issue where company should fix and concern about.
