I actually never heard this song before but my guessed was right. This song has a very powerful message to lift people spirit up, wakening the consciousness that we can always try to be taller, stronger, and better.

Guy Sebastian is known as the earliest Australian Idol winner while up until this day maintains his existence to deliver good message in his songs. He won the first Australian Idol and his debut album Just As I Am won six times platinum.

This devout Christian believer once had a rough time when some people accused that he was homosexual. He pressed on and continue to go on. This is the quality of a person we desperately want to see. If we want to see a true quality of a person, try to step on his toe and crush it. Then he is going to crack and you are going to see what comes out from him. Apparently, Guy Sebastian is taller, stronger, and better. Tough time won’t last, tough people do.

Yet this song lately come into my mind several months ago when I started my journey to retake my CCNA, and still, it is haunting my mind while I’m currently doing my CCNP.

I just got a new job soon as I got back from Indo about two months ago. This company offered me several months contract work as a network support engineer. This is actually my first time working in Australia as an IT guy.

During this time, I have to catch up lots of things that I nearly forgot about Cisco and do my CCNP before 31 December 2006. I have 3 months to finish it.
Now, I know how hard it is to sleep 5 hours a day, share your time between work, study, and family.

I got up early to catch my train and this song company me during the time. Very nice lyrics as Disney always does. Let me try to share you how I appreciate this song.

Sometimes I think that I’m going to a place, far far away since I only have CCNA. Becoming one of those guy is just not one of my wishes even from 2 years ago. I didn’t even dare to wish, too afraid.

I still can remember it clearly that somebody told me that I have to keep to have dreams, because that is the start of the journey. At least, for the first time, what I need to do is to dream about it, to dream to get my CCIE.

I’m getting older, and some of my colleagues saying that’s too old for me to start my journey. I also know that I’m not a bright person.

However, I think I have what it takes to get CCIE and I hope that’s enough. I’m a stubborn guy (Yeah, I know there is another appropriate word but I choose to use this one). I will read the books once and if I don’t understand, I will read for the second time, and if still I don’t understand, I will read it again even it takes me to read it 20 times. I will get it!

It might take a lifetime, so be it. I can see it’s coming.

Indeed I will face some problems, some harsh conditions, difficult times yet though time will last though people do.
